1. Bon Scott

Scottish-born Australian rock musician, Ronald Belford "Bon" Scott, was born on July 9, 1946, in Forfar, Scotland. He moved to South Perth, Western Australia, with his family in 1952. Bon Scott became widely known as the lead vocalist and lyricist of the legendary rock band AC/DC from 1974 until his tragic death in 1980.

2. Heath Ledger

Heathcliff Andrew Ledger, a talented Australian actor, was born on April 4, 1979, in Perth, Western Australia. Though not specifically from South Perth, Ledger spent his childhood nearby and attended both Como Primary School and Guildford Grammar School. He gained immense critical acclaim for his performances in movies such as "Brokeback Mountain" (2005) and "The Dark Knight" (2008), for which he posthumously received an Academy Award.

3. Craig Wing

Craig Wing, born on April 26, 1979, is a former professional rugby league footballer who represented Japan in rugby union internationally. Wing was born in South Perth and spent his formative years there. He played for the Sydney Roosters in the NRL and was known for his versatility, being able to play in the halves, hooker, or fullback positions.

4. Anthony Callea

Anthony Cosmo Callea, an Australian singer-songwriter, born on December 13, 1982, in Melbourne, Victoria, spent his early childhood in South Perth. Callea gained national recognition when he became the runner-up on the second season of "Australian Idol" in 2004. He has released multiple successful albums and singles since then.

5. Graham Edwards

Graham Charles Edwards, a former Australian politician, was born on November 21, 1954, in South Perth. He had a notable political career serving as a member of the Australian House of Representatives from 1998 to 2010, representing the electoral division of Cowan. Edwards was affiliated with the Australian Labor Party.
